The Gastein Motion Arena encompasses a total of 11 clearly posted trails in the three communities of Bad Gastein, Bad Hofgastein and Dorfgastein. It extends out for a total length of 120 kilometres. And all of the trails in the Gastein Motion Arena are named after famous Austrian winter sports stars: In Bad Gastein, for example, you will be greeted by the Franz Klammer Trail; in Bad Hofgastein, the Hansi Grugger Trail awaits, while Dorfgastein is proud to feature the Uli Maier Trail.
The mountains around Gastein in Austria beckon with outstanding opportunities for other sports: climbing, paragliding, mountain biking. Golf , too, is very popular in Bad Gastein during the summer: The town’s golf course is in a truly idyllic setting, with six other golf courses just waiting to be discovered within a radius of barely 60 kilometres: Goldegg, Zell am See / Kaprun, Brandlhof and Urslautal in Saalfelden, Radstadt, Mittersill.
