Geomancy Path
between Klammstein (Dorfgastein) and Sportgastein (Bad Gastein). As we make our way alongside the Gasteiner Ache (this river essentially forms the spine of this valley), we find nine stone sculptures in seven significant places. This work of art - known as Landscape Lithosculpture - draws our attention to the hidden dimensions and nexus in the countryside - info boards also accompany the curious hiker. Guided day hikes are offered.
Hike of Legend
At the entrance to the Gastein Valley, 10 thoughtfully conceived display boards provide insights through words and pictures into the rich treasure trove that is Gastein’s realm of legend. Making our way along an idyllic hiking path that is rich in variety, we come face to face with the original sites of many of these legends, allowing us to truly immerse ourselves in this valley’s ancient secrets.
